She noticed that most teachers used techniques and exercises that were developed hundreds of years ago. These programs are no longer practical for our fast paced lifestyles. For these reasons, she has formulated training programs which contain numerous quick and effective techniques for reducing physical and mental stress in all aspects of life. She has built a successful consulting practice in New York City, Boca Raton, Florida based on these programs. Today, our lifestyle requires that we move and think quickly. It requires that we employ coping techniques while staying centered during busy and stressful situations. We cannot control the world around us, but we can control our reaction and response to events. For these reasons, Debra has formulated highly, effective, simple, fast and easy methods of reducing stress. Using these strategies for reducing stress, you learn how to actually fly into a powerful and resourceful state of calm. Then, you can truly experience the feeling of instant relaxation. Debra custom-designs yoga workouts for clients by body type. Since we spend most of our days sitting in chairs and commuting back and forth from work, it is important to stretch and tone our bodies on a daily basis. In addition to privately training clients in Balanced Yoga, she also teaches yoga classes and offers seminars on Stress Reduction. Debra has presented her stress reduction and yoga programs for executives on the run, homemakers and professionals. Currently, Debra has taught Balanced Yoga at Goldman Sachs Wellness Exchange, David Barton Gym, Equinox, Doral Fitness (Park Avenue). She has presented her stress reduction program at the Waldorf Astoria, Restaurant Associates and Andersen Consulting. She has been featured on PBS.
